BMBA was set up by its three directors, one psychiatrist and two psychologists. Drs Mann, Berman and von Brandt have substantial experience and expertise of acting as expert witnesses, providing training programmes to health care staff, and providing treatment and therapy to forensic patients in NHS settings as well as the private sector. Drs Mann and von Brandt are registered with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and are Chartered Clinical Psychologists with the British Psychological Society (BPS).
